New Athletes/guardians must register on-line and sign waivers through the “Parent Login” before participating. Returning athletes do not need to do the “Parent Login” but must have a zero balance with Premier. Register on-line by going to: www.premierathletics.com or www.showtimespirit.com

Tryout Fees
Returning Athletes: Cheer (Except Tinys) $90 tryout fee; Dance & Tiny Cheer $50 tryout fee
New Athletes: Cheer (Except Tinys) $100 tryout fee; Dance & Tiny Cheer $60 tryout fee
All athletes will pay a $35 registration fee.
Clinics, tryouts and May practice fees are included in Tryout Fee.
Receive a $25 discount for being registered and paid by April 30, 2010.

Parent Meetings
Mandatory Parent Meeting for parents of RETURNING ATHLETES will be held Thurs., April 29, 2010 at 7:00pm.
Parent Meetings for new athletes will be Monday, May 10, 2010 at 5:00 and 7:00 pm.
If you cannot make it to a parent meeting, please contact us and we will be happy to answer your questions.
There will be another Parent Meeting after teams are formed.

Showtime Spirit Now Offering HS & College Cheer & Dance Tryout Classes
Premier Athletics – Showtime Spirit will be offering classes beginning March 1st and continue through April to help athletes prepare for High School and College Cheer and Dance Tryouts!
Tumbling, Jumps, Motions, Technique and Flexibility skills will be the focus of these classes.
The High School cheer class will be held every Monday from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.
The High School dance class will be held every Friday from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
The College cheer class will be held every Monday from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
Classes cost $50 per month for the first class and $40 per month for the second class. However, we will offer a significant discount to those team members that have been practicing in our gym this past season as long as all account balances are in good standing.

Cheer teams need to meet at 7:00 am and Dance teams need to meet at 5:00 pm, ready to go. Please meet by Mo Joe’s Cafe, which is on the first floor of the Lexington Center in the food court area. Although we don’t think it will affect us much, we want to remind everyone there is a Kentucky basketball game at 12:30 at Rupp Arena, so traffic may be increased and parking may be difficult.

September 12th Clinics
Showtime Spirit will host Dance and Tumbling clinics on Saturday, September 12th. The Dance Clinic will be held from 9am to Noon and include Hip Hop and Technique training. The Tumbling Clinic will be 1pm to 4pm and have sessions for all levels of tumblers. The clinics will be free to participants that sign up by September 11th using the online registration system.
July Dance & Tumbling Clinic
Showtime Spirit will host Dance & Tumbling Clinics on Saturday, July 11th. The Dance Clinic will be held from 9am to Noon and include Hip Hop and Technique sessions. The Clinic will be in conjunction with the Fillies.
The Tumbling Clinic will be 1pm to 4pm and led by the Showtime Spirit staff. The Clinic will have sessions for all levels of tumblers.
Each Clinic is $30, but participants can get a $5 discount by signing up before June 19th. Showtime Season Members in good standing may receive an additional $5 discount. Teams of 13 or more also qualify for a group discount and athletes attending the Clinics may also receive a discount off the following month’s Course.
Showtime Placements
Showtime Spirit’s 2009-10 Placements were very successful. We placed members on 1 Dance team and 4 Cheer teams. We also started placement members on our White team, which will start in the fall. Congratulations to all the athletes and we are looking forward to an incredible season.

May 9th Clinics
Showtime Spirit will be hosting dance and tumbling clinics on May 9th to kick off our Summer 1 Session of classes. The dance clinic will have technique and hip hop classes and will be in conjunction with the Fillies dancers. The dance clinic will be from 9am to Noon.
The tumbling clinic will be from 1-4pm and led by the Showtime Spirit staff. The tumbling clinic will have sessions for all levels of tumblers.
Each Clinic is $30, but participants can get a $5 discount by signing up before the early registration deadline of April 15. 2009-10 Season Members in good standing may receive an additional $5 discount and will be eligible to receive a discount off the corresponding session courses.
