Competitive Cheer & Dance Teams

Showtime Spirit offers competitive cheerleading and dance teams, commonly referred to as All Star teams. Our teams are open to participants of almost any age and skill level and compete at events locally, regionally, and nationally.

Showtime’s competitive teams give athletes an opportunity to train under highly experienced coaches and compete with and against athletes of similar age and skill level. Showtime Spirit will train 3 types of cheer and dance teams; identified by the colors White, Blue, and Black.

White Teams

Showtime Spirit’s White Teams are for athletes that want to benefit from being a part of performance cheer and dance teams while continuing to have time for additional activities. White Teams require a once a week commitment for 3-4 months for practices, plus a few extra days for local performances. Placements for White Teams will be in early September for the Fall season and early January for the Spring season, but additional members may be added during the season.

Blue Teams

Showtime Spirit’s Blue Teams are for athletes that want to train and compete as cheerleaders and dancers year round. Blue Teams will compete multiple times, primarily in and around Kentucky, ending the season with a Grand Championship, such as US Finals. Placement for Blue Teams will be held each May, but additional members may be added during the season.

Black Teams

Showtime Spirit’s Black Teams are also for athletes that want to train and compete as cheerleaders and dancers year round, aiming to finish the season at the Cheerleading and Dance World Championships in Orlando. Black Teams will compete multiple times, primarily attending 2-day events offering bids to Worlds. Black teams will require more travel than White or Blue teams. The goal of competing at Worlds limits Black Teams to highly skilled athletes ages 12-18. Placement for Black Teams will be held each May, but additional members may be added during the season.
